Teens With a Purpose (TWP) - Our mission is to create a platform that empowers young people to use their voice, creativity, reflection and action to affect personal growth, transform lives and impact communities. TWP intersects youth development practices; civic engagement, peer leadership and high quality artistic presentation creating safe inclusive spaces that challenge young people to find, develop, publicly present and apply their voices as creators of positive social change. TWP is committed to developing young leaders who positively impact their neighbors, classmates, schools, governments, congregations and one another.
Hampton Roads Pride - Hampton Roads Pride connects LGBT youth, teens, adults, and families with their greatest resource: community – promoting a sense of belonging and enhancing physical, mental, and social well-being.
Muse - Hampton Roads’ nonprofit literary center. We offer creative writing classes and seminars for writers--whether they be adults, children, or teens; house a resource center in Norfolk for area writers; and host readings and special events.

Run For Something - Since launching in January 2017, we have recruited 70,000+ young people across all 50 states who want to run for local office. We provide a safety net for new and exciting progressive candidates — at all stages of their journey — to help them run efficient, grassroots & voter-contact driven campaigns and not feel alone in the process.

Housing + Domestic and Sexual Violence Support
HER Shelter - Here at HER, we do our utmost to prepare safe and welcoming spaces for women and children fleeing situations of domestic or sexual violence, homelessness, or human trafficking.
Samaritan House - Samaritan House offers housing, case management, counseling, victim advocacy, transportation, medical assistance, food assistance, group therapy, job training and more to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking or homelessness.
Health
Hampton Roads Repro Justice League - Providing financial and practical support to people seeking abortions in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
Planned Parenthood of Virginia - Planned Parenthood provides high-quality sexual and reproductive health care….offering a wide variety of health care services for women, men, and teens.
The UP Center - The Up Center provides more than 20 critical support services for children and families in our community, including mental health counseling, parenting education and support, youth mentoring, foster care and adoption, housing and financial counseling, and services for people with disabilities.
Hampton Roads Harm Reduction - Hampton Roads area mutual aid group focused on harm reduction through free Narcan/Naloxone + Stop the Bleed training.

Youth
REACH, Inc - Every day, REACH, Inc. supports children throughout Coastal Virginia with literacy enrichment programs and strong community partnerships. Our goal is to continue meeting the regional priorities of improving access to literacy and education for children ages 0-17, especially those living at or below the Federal poverty level.

Seton Youth Shelter - Seton Youth Shelters shall provide a safe haven, counseling and outreach services, 24 hours per day without charge, to assist youth in crisis throughout Hampton Roads, with the goal of reuniting families.
Girls on the Run Hampton Roads - We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

LGBT Life Center - LGBT Life Center empowers the LGBTQ communities and all people affected by HIV through improving health and wellness, strengthening families and communities, and providing transformative education and advocacy.
TAP VA - The Transgender Assistance Program of Virginia - TAP VA is an all volunteer, trans led non-profit organization created to end homelessness within the transgender community in Virginia.

Humanities Behind Bars - A grassroots abolitionist collective of teachers, students, activists, and artists committed to creating networks of care in the larger movement to end systems of punishment.
Equality Virginia - Equality Virginia (EV) understands that LGBTQ Virginians, from youth to seniors, continue to experience violence, discrimination, and disparities, particularly transgender people and people of color.
ACLU of Virginia - A private, non-profit organization that promotes civil liberties and civil rights for everyone in the Commonwealth through public education, litigation and advocacy with the goal of securing freedom and equality for all.
Urban League of Hampton Roads - The mission of the Urban League of Hampton Roads, Inc. (ULHR) is to enable African Americans and others to secure economic self-reliance, parity and power and civil rights.
Moms Demand Action Virginia - Moms Demand Action is a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that can protect people from gun violence.
